When you are healthy, the cells, tissues, and organs of your body function optimally to keep you fit and strong so that you can carry out your daily duties effectively, but when you are not healthy, your body won’t perform as well as you want, and there are some signs or symptoms it gives out to show you something is wrong with it. However, in this article, I want to briefly discuss some ways in which you can know whether you’re healthy or not without running a medical test.

1. According to Healthline, when you start gaining excess weight, it’s an unhealthy sign that shows you need to watch your diet and reduce your consumption of foods that are high in fat and cholesterol. Too much weight, which is also known as obesity, raises your chances of having increased blood cholesterol and fat deposits in the tissues, which may cause other medical conditions. Obese or overweight people have more free radicals in their bodies, which can increase their chances of having various types of cancer.

2. When you find it quite uneasy or hard to sleep well at night, it’s also one of the ways to know if you are healthy or not. This could be a result of consuming an excess of caffeine in caffeinated beverages.

3. When you discover you can’t remember things clearly or you forget things easily, it’s a sign of memory loss, which most commonly occurs in people having a medical condition known as dementia.

4. Another way to know if you’re healthy or not is when you observe the red color of your tongue fading off into a white color and you also notice the palm of your hands the same way. It’s a sign that indicates insufficiency of blood. It means the amount of blood needed to circulate the whole body is not enough. You should immediately go for medical treatment when you notice this sign.

5. Your skin and hair can also reveal how healthy or unhealthy you are when you observe that they are dry and scaly, or the skin layers have wrinkles on them.

6. Fatigue or tiredness and low energy are also among the ways you can know if you are healthy or not.
